Children are blessings from the Lord - like arrows in a quiver (Psalm 127)
First Methodist Church of Azle believes in discipling the children in our care with hands-on experiences that help us to see, hear, touch, and feel the scriptures in order to bring them to life.
Nursery Ministry
Infant - Age 4
A Nursery is provided for the younger members of our church family for Sunday morning services and many weekday events.
The nursery is located in the educational wing of the building and features an area specifically equipped for both infants and toddlers.
Our ministry staff is experienced in childcare and constantly strive to ensure that your children have the best possible experience during their time with us.
Children’s Sunday School
Sunday School begins at 9:30 am. Developmentally designed classes are held on the lower floor of the Educational building in the Cornerstone Learning Zone. They offer a variety of opportunities for Bible study, fellowship, prayer and service activities that complement the efforts of parents and help to nurture the growth of children as Christian Disciples. We have several levels of Sunday School based on age and skill levels. We help equip children to live out their faith by adapting Bible stories to our everyday lives.
Children's Church
Each Sunday, children in first grade and younger have a unique opportunity to participate in worship in their own special way. The children enjoy their own special time in the 8:30 and 11:00 am worship services during the “Children’s Time.” After this time in the worship service, an adult leader will guide the children in first grade and younger to Children’s Church, which meets in room 108 (next to the Nursery).
