Easter Experience201801
Come walk with Jesus this Easter Sunday at 9:45 and 11:00 a.m. Your children will interact with Jesus and the Disciples and do activities to help them understand the Resurrection Power of Jesus in a developmentally-appropriate way. Come and join us at FUMC Azle this Easter! You'll find a loving church family waiting for you to make us your church home.

It’s that time once again to reach out into our community to assist those in need. The Good Neighbors program is sponsored by many of our area churches and businesses as well as our City Council. This program is organized and directed by Servolution Network, a nonprofit Christian organization. We have partnered with them for three years on many of their projects. They in turn partner with us on our Community Garden efforts to feed Azle’s needy. The Good Neighbors Blitz this spring is on Friday April 6th & Saturday April 7th and is targeted at 7 homes in the Azle area. By assisting with improvements we are giving homeowners pride once again in their properties, spurring others in the neighborhood to follow this example. When this occurs homes in Azle increase in value. This doesn’t happen by itself, we need volunteers to assist our team on one of the houses. Please sign up for either or both days. Be a goffer, hold a ladder, scrape, paint, hold a board or saw. Nothing is hard when we have many hands. Each house is assigned a contractor & assistant to guide us in our work. Text 417-499-7875 or email ken@fumcazle.org and add your name to the list of God’s workers. Mark the date on your calendar.

Men's Retreat - April 27 – 29

Lake Bridgeport Camp and Conference Center
Join the men of the church as we create bonds of Christian Brotherhood! We’ll enjoy BBQ Dinners, Campfires, inspirational devotions, Key Speaker: Gerry Lewis, outdoor movie, Sunday Worship with Communion, and plenty of free time to enjoy nature at the camp. Contact John Potts pottsjd1@gmail.com or Pastor Carol for more details!
The Ministry team is trying to put together a mission trip to assist those who were so devastated by Hurricane Harvey. The Rio Conference has prayerfully requested our assistance with rebuilding projects. To decide what this trip will look like we need an estimate of how many are willing to go and what month works the best for your families. We are hoping to make this a family event that will not only assist those in need but make family memories for years to come. Please consider this as part of your outreach this year by signing up at the welcome center in the lower atrium. Your mission’s team, the hands of God, helping others.
